CITIZEN ALERTS
Visible Addresses
Make sure that police and firefighters can find your home in an emergency. Your street address should be clearly visible. Consider using a reflective sign to improve night visibility.
Beach Debris and Holes
Beach gear left overnight and large holes dug in the sand cause big trouble for humans and turtles. Take your chairs and umbrellas home and fill up the holes you to dig to ensure that turtles can nest and people don't injure themselves.
Fire Prevention
When you change your clocks this year, check your smoke dector at the same time. Fresh batteries are important. Also, clean your heater before you use it for the first time.
