Coming Soon - 17th Annual Convention Tradeshow

Only three months away until the 17th annual convention in Kansas City. Trade show booth reservations are at 90% of the space available for the member manufacturers. The agenda will include break-out "Best Practices" sessions on Thursday afternoon (9/15), followed by the welcome reception that evening. Friday morning (9/16) will be the general membership meeting followed by three great speakers focusing on current issues. Jon Trivers will follow up on his very timely flooring industry presentation from last year. Mike Marks on current flooring distribution trends, and Todd Hunt on communication lessons wrapped in laughter. The member manufactures trade show will follow Friday afternoon (9/16) and again Saturday morning until noon. New products, methods, ideas, and special buys will be presented to the distributor attendees. It will be a great convention. Look forward to seeing you there! Woodworking Accounts For 11% Of Adhesives & Sealants
The wood working and wood flooring segement account for 11 percent of global demand in the $40.5-billion adhesives and sealants market, according to the Adhesives and Sealant Council's (ASC) North America market report.
The report, which is published every three years, covers the 2010 to 2013 time period. Overall, the adhesive and sealant market is expected to grow 3.3% annually over the next three years. This information was posted by HWF Editors.
