Welcome 2011 Board Of Directors!
With sincere appreciation by the members for their three years of service on the Board, Larry Chandler, with Wm. M. Bird Co. and Sal DeRosa with W.J. Grosvenor & Co., are retiring. I am sure they will continue to be available with their knowledge to help any Association matters. Two new Board members were voted in at the recent FIANA convention to begin their three year term. Randy Grachek, President, Hank's Specialties, New Brighton, MN, and Grant Medhurst, President of Shamrock Flooring Accessories, Calgary, AB. Bart Rogers of Roppe Holding Co. has agreed to extend his term on the Board for another year. Tom Duffy Co. Acquires Victor Kemp Co.
"Effective September 30, 2010", Jon Youngberg from the Tom Duffy Co. stated, "the Tom Duffy Co, /B.R. Funston acquired the Victor Kemp Co. located in San Diego, Ca.
By adding the two Victor Kemp branches to the company, the Duffy/Funston Co. now has 25 branch locations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona."

ASTM Changes Calcium Chloride Standard
 Recently the ASTM committee changed the F 1869 Calcium Chloride Standard to specifically disallow calcium chloride testing for all lightweight aggregate concrete.
