The 16th
annual FIANA convention and trade show is now only a month and a half away, and
from the responses to date, the attendance looks very encouraging.
Manufacturing members have registered for all but 7 of the trade show booths
and hotel room reservations are filling up.
CONVENTION REGISTRATION:
By
now all active members, distributors and manufacturers should have received
their convention packets which includes; registration form, program agenda,
speaker program, along with information on the hotel reservations, the FIANA
Training Center, and membership benefits. Please let us know immediately if you
have not received the packet, (gary.verhey@fiana.org)
Also, as you complete the registration form; please include the city of each
attendee for inclusion on the name badges.
It
would be greatly appreciated if you would register as soon as possible so that
we can complete all administrative processes prior to the convention. As we have done in past years, there will be an
additional $25.00 registration charge ($520.00) for any registrations made after
Aug 31st 2010. If you have
not done so, please register now.
TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT INFORMATION:
All
exhibiting manufacturers should have received by now via e-mail, the trade show
service kit from GES Exhibit Co. If you
have any questions or need the service kit, please do not hesitate to contact
Brad Ferrell. Brad is our direct GES
coordinator for San Antonio and is eager to make all arrangement as simple and

HYATT REGENCY ROOM RESERVATIONS A
reminder again, of the popularity of San Antonio and especially at this time of
the year and the importance of making reservations by Aug 16, 2010. Our block is being held to that date and all
rooms reserved after that date are subject to availability at the convention
rate of $169.00. See number and links below to make your reservation right now. Transportation
from the airport is by either cab or shuttle buses. Hyatt does not offer direct service from the
airport.
FIANA BAGS The
Board of Directors voted this year to dispense with the purchasing and offering
of free carrying bags at the convention. It was suggested that the actual need and use at the convention was
minimal. Look forward to seeing you all soon in San Antonio.

FIANA is required to block a number of rooms for the convention and if registrants do not mention "Floor Installation Association" or choose to stay in another location, the association will be responsible for all the unused rooms. Please be mindful of this and reserve your rooms accordingly
