Letter From Gary Verhey - FIANA Update On Membership
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:
I have attached a copy of the benefits and goals of membership in FIANA. I hope these benefits confirm the value and importance of membership in FIANA, along with attending the conventions and trade shows. I feel it is important for us to share, support, and understand a common purpose for FIANA.

FIANA TRAINING CENTER:
The interest and momentum continues to grow with the training center program. We are now offering 12 courses with more coming soon. We are hopeful more manufacturers will see the opportunity for their products and methods after we share the results of our survey of participants.
As of March 1st, we have 1,100 enrollments and $3,500.00 in "BlueBucks" awarded. All this interest in distributor employee self-educating has occurred in just 5 months since inception of the program. TRAINING CENTER SURVEY:
Last week we e-mailed to over 400 participants of the training center program a survey requesting responses to the value of the program, other courses they desire, and other manufactures products they would like to learn more about. I will share the results of this survey in the next FIANA news update.

Purpose & Benefits
PURPOSE:
As the primary conduit to the floor installation trade, the goal and purpose of the FIANA membership (manufacturer and distributor) is to focus on the communication, education, and distribution of ideas, methods, and products to properly and professionally install all types of floor coverings.
BENEFITS:
1. Interact with members of this industry throughout the United States and Canada with the sharing of business issues, opportunities, ideas, and best practices.
2. An annual convention and trade show for manufacturer members to exhibit their products to the distributor members. This trade show is for members only and is the only trade show dedicated exclusively for exhibiting products and methods for installing all types floor coverings.
3. An annual convention and trade show where top rated speakers share subjects that educate, motivate, and entertain, all designed to improve the members businesses and personal lives
4. A web based training program via the internet for the purpose of educating all distributor member associates 24/7 on methods, products and solutions for installing flooring materials. Visit "fiana.org" and the Fiana Training Center for details of the program.
5. All members with branch locations are listed in the annual Membership Directory and also listed on the FIANA Website, "fiana.org". The website keeps up to date on all floor covering industry news
6. A monthly E-Mail newsletter to all members sharing member news, promotions, new products, and trade information.
