The Ballou Channing District Inland Cluster Presents:
Inspiring Participation in Our Congregations
May 21, 2011
Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, 505 N. Main St., Attleboro, MA
RSVP to: Janet Richardi at janetrichardi@comcast.net
We want and need people to participate and take ownership in our congregations. One way to encourage this spirit of fellowship is to conduct meetings and events that inspire participation. During this training, attendees will share their tips for encouraging participation in their congregations while learning three new facilitation methods that they can use in their meetings to generate participation. These methods are: the "Presentation" method, the "Reflective Conversation" method, and the "Workshop" method. They were developed by the International Association of Facilitators and are easy to learn and use. Philip Conover of the Unitarian Church of Sharon will be leading the training.
