1. Organ Repertoire: Dr. Steven Young Bridgewater State University
Organ repertoire for the small, but versatile, pipe organ. It will feature music by a wide variety of composers from various countries and eras. Musical selections will be suitable for church and concert usage. Bibliography of additional resources will be provided.
2. Copyright Protection Steven Finner, St. Johnsbury, Vermont
This workshop is designed to acquaint music directors with how the laws affect them as consumers of published music. We will be reviewing the UUA and UUMN web published materials on copyright that are posted on the UUA Worship Web http://www.uua.org/spirituallife/worshipweb/143066.shtml and the UUMN http://www.uua.org/publications/singingjourney/50630.shtml web sites. It would help if participants download and print these and bring them to the conference.
3.Choir Singers Workshop Anne Watson Born, Director of Music Ministry
First Unitarian Society, Newton, Massachusetts
Empowering the Choral Singer - a session on how to get the most out of rehersal (aka "WHAT is my conductor talking about and how can it help me?!") and how to contribute actively, positively and joyfully to rehearsal.

1. Children's Choir - Philip Jones
Philip Jones was born in 1949 in Preston, Lancashire, England. He studied music privately and at the Royal Manchester College of Music. Appointed organist to various churches from an early age Jones has worked continuously as a school and private teacher, organist and accompanist. He has been the Director of Music at Christ Congregational Church (UCC) Brockton since 1998 where he directs both adult and children's choirs. As a composer he has three albums of organ music published (Asian Praise, Variations on Kum ba Yah and the Hildegard Versets) He has also written vocal, choral and instrumental music. A recent performance of 'The Prayers of Dag Hammarskjold' was given by the University of California-Riverside Choral Society conducted by Dr Edward Bruner.
2. Ring Out Wild Bells Richard Hill Unity Church, North Easton
A hands on session with the bell ringers of Unity Church to hear their
thoughts about their experiences in this ensemble. Basic information
on setting up a handbell choir and techniques.

Days Inn in South Attleboro on Route 1A is probably the best motel bargain. There is also the Colonel Blackinton Inn just down the street from Murray Church, a very nice B&B, on North Main St./Route 152.
