The American Society of Orthopedic Professionals has contracted with the VGM Corporation to bring you your required continuing education at a low cost without travel or missing work.  These distance learning courses are approved by ABC/BOC for Cat 1 Hours.  Over 30 hours (28.25 for pedorthists) are approved for Scientific and over 20 hours are approved for Business.  See all home study courses below.
Don't forget to obtain CE hours in your discipline, pre-approved by ABC/BOC.  It's the only way to be sure that your CE credits will count fully towards your renewal requirements!  These credits are pre-approved in your ABC/BOC disciplines.

Sign-up ends November 15th at 5PM.  Just click on the registration form link below.  You can charge the $100.00 registration fee with a credit card.    Don't forget to include your ABC and/or BOC certification number.   You will receive your login information within 24 hrs of your paid registration.  You can use the program until December 31st, 2010.

The courses (see below) can be completed from any Internet connection 24/7.  You will have access to the courses until December 31st.  You can complete as many hours as you like.      There is no minimum.  Even if you need just 10 hours the program is extremely cost effective. Heck, it's damn cheap!

I have personally completed over 35 hours of these CE opportunities for my own ABC CE requirements.   I think these courses are a great learning experience.  You will especially enjoy the Functional Knee Brace course.  I think everyone should take the infection control series even if you don't need the hours.   You can print out a PDF of each course and keep them for reference or a training tool for your staff.

After you complete each course you can print out a certificate of completion.  Your hours will be sent to ABC/BOC automatically in January 2011 if you included your certification number. If you need additional CE hours You can see the live casting workshop schedule at http://www.castingworkshop.com/   These workshops focus on orthopedic fracture casting and are approved (for orthotists and orthotic fitters) for Cat 1 (S) 9.5 hrs plus you are awarded an additional 10.5 (S) with the incuded distance learning orthopedic manual & CD.
Do these CE now and attend a live casting workshop in the future! See the casting course at www.castingworkshop.com

Sign-up today and avoid "Desperate December".
