WHAT'S NEW
|
Outdoor Kitchens With the scent of spring flowers filling the air and hot summer days creeping in, we find ourselves craving the great outdoors and, of course, barbecues. In these warmer months, so many of us take pride in our back yards and enjoy spending time with family and friends there. But, over the years we have realized that, more often than not, we're missing the convenience, comfort, not to mention the aesthetically pleasing look of an indoor kitchen outside with us. With this in mind, an increasing number of us have decided to create the look of an indoor kitchen outdoors. This can be accomplished by using specialized products that are now available to us; appliances, materials and finishes both natural and engineered. So, break out the shorts and tanktops, it's time to get outdoors and start cooking!

Gorgeous Cape Kitchen
"The design is beautiful as well as functional and your attention to detail was outstanding." --D.C. Harwich, MA
This Cape Cod kitchen features white painted, inset, custom cabinetry by Prevo. The paneled appliances blend seamlessly with the surrounding cabinets. Stacked cabinets bring your eye to the peak of the cathedral ceiling. Seeded glass fronts mimic pebbles found outside the door. Bead board panels that surround the island are right at home in this beach house. Open shelves are functional for displaying some favorite nautical finds. The deep tones of oil rubbed bronze hardware compliment the painted cabinetry and Black Galaxy granite adds a touch of contrast.
|
| BEFORE & AFTER |
This once dark, cluttered space was transformed into this crisp open floor plan.
The new design features cottage style accents such as the bead board back
splash and the cup handles hardware. The painted cabinets go all the way to the ceiling giving extra storage and creating a sense of space. The panels on the appliances create continuity. This new kitchen not only looks beautiful but is functional.See more pictures and download a PDF slide show. |
| SMALL THINGS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE |
|
The accessories used within your cabinets can make as much of an impact as the lay out itself. Utility drawers come with sturdy wood dividers for your utensils and silverware that can often be customized to the shape and size that fits your needs. Pull out cabinets can come equipped with wire racks convenient for holding easy to access spices and canned goods. Paneling your appliances is a simple way to create a beautiful flow within your cabinetry. |
