 During this month as we honor the Love in our lives and within our hearts, may we practice the Attitude of Gratitude. Gratitude creates a powerful state of happiness because it returns us to the natural place where we notice what's right instead of what's wrong. Every day this month may we discover and distill a sense of gratitude in every aspect of our lives.
May we be mindful that Valentine's Day is not just for lovers, husbands and wives. It is for those who dearly touch our lives. This month especially, remember to take take the opportunity to tell all of those you hold dear how important they are in your life.

| THE POWER OF LOVE...THE POWER OF A HUG |

It is proven scientifically that hugs, which are actions of communicating love, have the power to heal.
Love is the greatest healer of all. It is the essence that nourishes our souls. One of the greatest gifts that man has is the ability to hug, to embrace someone. Of all the acts that our two hands can be utilized for, the act of giving someone a hug must be among the most powerful.
A hug can release endorphins in the blood that can make a person 'feel good'. It can lower the heart rate and blood pressure, reduce the production of cortisol (hormones that are secreted during stressful periods) and thereby improve one's immunity against disease.
This picture above is from an article in Reader's Digest (May, 1996) called "The Rescue Hug". The article details the first week of a set of twins. Apparently, each were in their respective incubators, and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the twins reached out an arm over the sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby's heart stabilized and her temperature rose to normal.
Make it a point every day to let those that you hold dear know that they are loved. |

How can this be? ....
I'll share an amazing and profound secret with you in case you haven't already heard...
*If you have Love, you already have Everything*
If you have Love, you already have Everything.
If you have Love, there is nothing more to have.
Love is unity. It is all-inclusive. It is the most powerful force in the universe... Love is the very energy of the life force it's self.
Everything is made of love. Everything that exists has been created with the pure energy of Divine Love.
And through Love's Unity, you are One with everything. If you have Love, you have it all!
All of our spiritual gifts - peace, joy, abundance, prosperity, freedom, and so on - all of these gifts are manifestations of Love. They are created with Love, by Love. Love holds everything. Including everything you could ever need.
Love is pure abundance. To have Love, is to have. If you have Love, you have access to an unlimited, infinite supply of anything and everything you could ever need, want, wish and hope for.
Love is what unifies us with our loved ones - both those still in physical form and those purely in spirit. Our experience of reality will always center at what we acknowledge our oneness with. We are already one with every possibility that exists. What brings any possibility into our experience of reality is determined by our own focus. What you focus on, you draw more of into your experience. If you choose to focus on your oneness and unity with Love, then you will be acknowledging your oneness with all that is and this will enable you, empower you, and open the channel of infinite possibility (Divine Love) for you to experience anything you desire! | |
