Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County March 4, 2010 |
President's Corner
By: Carlos X. Colorado The theme of our annual dinner being held this Saturday at the Disney
Grand Californian states that "The HBA is History Brought Alive."
Those lucky to be there on Saturday will see the first Latina
cabinet secretary (Labor Sec. Hilda Solis, via video),and the first Latina trial
judge in the United States (Hon. Frances Muñoz, who will serve as our
installing officer). Three of the
four former HBA presidents who now sit as judges will serve as MC's. And, much of our program will be for
the history books, including a fantastic silent auction catalog which we share with
you in this message.
Oh, and International Sonora Show promises the
dancefloor will be brought alive, also.
We can't wait to see you all on Saturday!
