2010 Installation Dinner and Scholarship Fundraiser March 6th
President's Corner
By: Carlos X. Colorado

The HBA's March 6 dinner is shaping up to be a gala night and for one lucky person it will be FREE, to boot!  You could be that lucky person, who will be randomly selected from those attending our first event of the year, our first "De Barranda"  Bar Review, later today at Andrei's in Irvine (see here for details).  In addition to a chance to win a free "in" to the hottest ticket in town this spring, it will allow us all to get a head start in networking for the new year.  See you there!

The next big ticket event of the year after the annual dinner will be our May MCLE trip to the hide-away beach resort town of Huatulco over Memorial Weekend.  Everyone knows about Acapulco, and a few connoisseurs will know about Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, but Southern Mexico, which has some of the best beaches in Mexico, still has some hidden treasures.  Beautiful and largely unspoiled, Huatulco was virtually unknown, except to the local Zapotec people, until recent years but now it has a marina and a gold course.  See here for details.

Huatulco

As usual, we convey various announcements for your consideration of things we thought might be of interest.   Enjoy!
