The State Bar of California Announces the Annual Public Hearings on Attorney Discipline, Admissions & Competence(Held Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 6095(a)) The State Bar of California will hold its annual hearings to receive proposals on attorney disciplinary procedures, attorney competancy and admissions procedures. The hearings will be held in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The purpose of these hearings is to provide an opportunity for members of the public and the legal professions to make proposals or offer comments regarding the attorney discipline process, the admissions process or the maintenance or improvement of attorney competence. Two hearings will be conducted.
