Bar Day: Nov. 1st
Law Firm Day: Nov. 3rd
Each year Chapman University School of Law hosts Bar Day and Orange County Law Firm Practice Day. Bar Day will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the law school. Bar participants are encouraged to meet with first year law students at information tables to discuss their respective organizations and offer any advice and guidance to students as they begin their job search.
On Saturday, November 3, 2007, approximately 150 law students from the southern California region law schools will participate in the 14th Annual Orange County Law Firm Practice Day. The overall purpose is to provide information to law students regarding various areas of private practice in Orange County as well as information about the different professional organizations available to law students and attorneys in Orange County. All participating organizations will be assigned a reserved table to man between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the event day. HEEF 14th Annual Apple of Gold Awards Dinner

There is still time to RSVP for and/or sponsor the 14th Annual Apple of Gold Awards Dinner hosted by the Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF). In addition to recognizing local teachers and administrators, who inspire and encourage students to strive for a university education, HEEF provides scholarships for college students. Proceeds from the dinner go to the scholarship general fund and to its 29 sub-funds targeting majors in arts, business, engineering, law, medicine and technology.
