Return to Freedom: The American Wild Horse Sanctuary
September 20 - 23, 2011
Lompoc, California (Near Santa Barbara)
Does the idea of spending time with wild horses
make your heart beat faster?
Join us for a unique getaway and let your creative spirit run free
in the company of America's Wild Mustangs
During this wonder-filled encounter you will experience the joy of creating artistic expressions as a doorway to communicating with horses as sentient beings. Sandra Wallin and Kim McElroy will guide you in fun and creative ways to connect with your intuitive nature and the wild beauty of each herd. Using the language of art, which is uniquely your own, you will be given ways to interpret the feelings and visions of your equine encounters. RTF Founder and renowned wild horse behaviorist, Neda DeMayo, will lead a Wild Horse Walk to share the stories and wisdom of the wild horses and the sanctuary's efforts to save them.
Celebrate the powerful energies of the Autumnal Equinox and draw inspiration from this magical land and from thedeeply mysterious and benevolent nature of wild horses. When you gift yourself with these four days of magic, you will also be helping Return to Freedom continue to provide sanctuary for over 400 wild horses.
