Grandfather, the waters are rising
We do not know which way to turn
Daughters and Sons, you can ride the tide
Trust, and the river will subside
Buffalo brothers, the earth is shaking
Will we ever feel stable again?
Children of Earth, trust your Mother
She will find what she needs for balance
Eagle spirit, the skies seem empty of your cries
We need inspiration and guidance
Two-legged ones, you forget you have wings too
All fledglings must learn to fly in their own time
Horse guides, all these challenges are daunting
How can we weather the changes?
Sisters and Brothers, learn to view life as a prism
in which you see many colors
When you allow the flow,
in time the light will dispel the darkness
