As you might have guessed, we won't be serving any green beer at the Rookery this St. Patrick's Day weekend. Adding artificial coloring to healthy food and fine spirits isn't really our thing, after all. But that certainly doesn't mean we aren't celebrating with the Irish!
So we once again called on their friendly neighbors in the Scottish Shetland Islands to bring in some of their fabulous Black Pearl® organic salmon that we last featured in January. But this time Chef Mike is putting an appropriate holiday twist on his fresh salmon recipe. Bailey's Irish Cream sauce? I can hardly wait!
If that's not enough, we're also featuring a new fresh cheesecake flavor this week. Irish Cream. What else? Sure beats green beer if you ask me!

Announcing our New Websites
Yes, we know our email update is really late this week. The reason is that we've been working for the past six weeks or so building two all new websites -- one for the restaurant and one for the lodge. They went live for the first time this week, but not without a few technical snafus. Now resolved. We hope!
