Alif LailaAlif Laila's solo sitar performances have included the Smithsonian Institution, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Virginia Museum of Arts, Penn State University, the National Musem of Bangladesh, and the Kerala Fine Arts Society (in India).  Ms. Laila has performed throughout the US, and recorded with leading tabla virtuosi Anindo Chatterjee and Taari Khan.  Laila has released six CDs and two DVDs, one of which - Hridayaragam - was featured in the events for Smithsonian's Women's History Month.
