About the venue: Simulcasts will be presented in surround sound on a 58" x 108" screen in the 75-seat recital hall of the Washington Conservatory in the South Arcade.
About the simulcasts: Each Concert is produced in real-time using a state-of-the-art camera system choreographed to capture the fullness of the orchestra and the intimacy of the on-stage experience. You can see the emotion of the music through the eyes of the performers as they interpret a phrase, sense the passion of the work through the conductor's expressions or the sweep of a baton, be moved by the power of the piece. You are immersed in the performance, virtually seated with the orchestra members as they perform. In addition to the live performance, you will see behind-the-scenes interviews made available only to simulcast viewers. |
