Led by Herman Meyer, a popular Baltimore and Washington area music lecturer, this class for adults is designed for experienced and novice classical music-lovers. Using recorded examples, historical research and engaging anecdotes, each class will highlight a specific era, composer or performer.

The Washington Conservatory is proud to present LIVE Simulcasts of the Philadelphia Orchestra from The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia!

What makes the Philadelphia Orchestra Concert simulcasts special? Each Concert is produced in real-time using a state-of-the-art camera system choreographed to capture the fullness of the orchestra and the intimacy of the on-stage experience. You can see the emotion of the music through the eyes of the performers as they interpret a phrase, sense the passion of the work through the conductor's expressions or the sweep of a baton, be moved by the power of the piece. You are immersed in the performance, virtually seated with the orchestra members as they perform.
