Greetings!

Great news! The Washington Conservatory was chosen as the resident music program for the Partnership of Arts and Culture at Glen Echo Park! Construction is well underway for our new site in the park. (see pictures below)

We will present a summer of innovative 5-day music camps and a full fall schedule of early childhood classes, classical and jazz ensembles, individual music lessons, lectures, and concerts in the park.

Please join us for our Grand Opening Celebration from 1-5 PM on Saturday, July 11 in Glen Echo Park. The day will include tours of our new 1800 sq. ft. facility in the South Arcade (next to Adventure Theatre), instrument demonstrations, a ribbon cutting ceremony, a free solo concert by pianist Michael Adcock, and public reception.

On Friday, July 31, we will co-host a free concert by Traveling Notes - young musicians from Peru, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the US. We will host a reception following the concert.

It is very exciting to have a new home within the vibrant arts community of Glen Echo Park, in addition to our current Westmoreland Circle location - allowing WCM to offer even more musical opportunities to Bethesda and the Greater DC community!

Please take a moment to read about all the exciting news -
then tell your friends!

Musically yours,
