YogaXoga Newsletter
September 2011
 Greetings!

Fall is usually the time when we start to get back into a schedule or routine.  Summers are wonderful with new experiences and more fluid days, but there is something to be said about the structure of fall.  For me, that means getting back to what I know really works for me: exercise, regular sleep, green smoothies, yoga, my inversion table and listening to my body's subtle messages.  What about you? What fall routines are you looking forward to?

We've got two new classes beginning this week in Olathe and great classes continuing in Lenexa, Leawood and Fairway.  In Phoenix, I'm building more private and corporate classes and developing a health coaching program(open to long-distance clients too) to meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey.  Exciting things to come!

In this newsletter, you'll find:
  • Our Fall YogaXoga Schedule - classes in Fairway, Lenexa, Leawood and now Olathe!
  • Our Once-a-Year Special this month - Buy a 10 Class Pass for $75.  Attend any YogaXoga class and purchase your 10 class pass from your instructor.  Or EMAIL US to purchase through PayPal. Limit 3 per client.
  • Meet the talented teachers on our YogaXoga team!
  • So what is health coaching?  Learn more about our newest offering coming soon.
  • From the YogaXoga Blog:  Meditations for your Workday, Yoga for Your Thyroid, Enjoying Moments of Home

Enjoy and be well,

I've been so fortunate to work with such a great group of teachers.  Each one brings their own gifts and love of teaching yoga to their classes.

Thanks to all of you who have sent praise and feedback to encourage our new teachers!

As I've found in Phoenix, it's difficult to take over any teacher's class because of the rapport and bond that's established between the teacher and her clients.

Welcome Jen Simpson, our newest addition to the YogaXoga team.  Read about Jen and the rest of our YogaXoga team on our Teachers page.

Thank you for giving these lovely teachers a chance to show you their gifts and for being so supportive in our transitions this year! It is my most heartfelt desire that you find a great class and teacher fit for you this year...

Introducing: YogaXoga Health Coaching

veggies

It happens to all of us.  We get stuck into ruts.  Sometimes we just need a little nudge in the right direction.  Or maybe we're so overwhelmed by all of the health & wellness messages out there that we don't know where to start.

At YogaXoga, we're developing a health coaching program to meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey.  We are currently working with a test group of clients to finalize the details but wanted to share with you what's coming soon.   We have a few spots open in our test group --

email us if you're interested in joining.  A health coaching session may include:

  • Initial consultation
  • Goal and vision setting and meal planning
  • Tips on getting started with Vitamix (or other high-powered blenders)
  • Fitness accountability partner
  • Personalized fitness schedule
  • Health & wellness newsletter with motivational tips & easy recipes

Because many of you do not live in the same city as me, we are making sure that we have a program that will work with face-to-face meetings and phone/Skype sessions as well.

We want to hear from you! What do you think? Is this something you would be interested in? Are there other features that would be helpful to you?

Email us and tell us what you think! Thank you!
