Word: Shortcuts to Line Spacing
Take CTRL of line spacing
When typing a document it is sometimes necessary to change the line spacing for specific text within the document. The quickest method is to use keyboard shortcuts.
Keyboard methods to changing line spacing
Single-spacing - CTRL+1
Double-spacing - CTRL+2
Set 1.5 line spacing - CTRL+5
The way it works
As you are typing when you get to the point where you need to switch to double-spacing simply press CTRL+2 and double-spacing will be set from the point of cursor forward. When you want to return back to single-spacing simply press CTRL+1.
Keep in mind that anytime you are typing and you have to remove the hands from the keyboard you are losing typing speed thus using keyboard shortcuts where possible saves time.
Next week's tip will be on Excel -- don't miss it!
Have a great week!
