Starting a new line in the same cell
 
Have you ever needed a multi-line heading in a cell? If so you will appreciate today's very quick tip... Alt+Enter. Read on for the instructions.
 
Scenario: You have a title of Second Quarter 2008 but you want 2008 to be on a line below the words Second Quarter within the same cell.
 
Instructions:
  1. Click in the desired cell for your title
  2. Type Second Quarter (do not enter yet)
  3. Press Alt+Enter (a new line is created)
  4. Type 2008
  5. Press Enter (your two-line title is now in place)
