Ladson to Celebrate 170 Years! |

On Saturday, August 9, 2008 an Awards Banquet will be held at the Brookland Banquet and Conference Center on Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia. The time is 7:00 P.M. Several members and community supporters will be honored at this time. The speaker is the award winning journalist, Michel Martin who is now the host of "Tell Me More" on National Public Radio, Washington, DC. Tickets are $25.00 per person. The closing event is "Homecoming" on Sunday, August 10, 2008 with worship at 12 noon followed by fellowship with a meal outside under the " tent".. There will be praises and thanksgiving through songs and dance!!!. Call one the above numbers by August 1st if you plan to join Ladson on Sunday.

2009 Mission Yearbook |
 For over 116 years the Mission Yearbook has brought the Presbyterian family together daily for prayer and study about a faithful God who does amazing things through people just like us. The stories for the 2009 yearbook were collected around the theme it shares with the 218th General Assembly (2008), "Do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). Outstanding Church Youth Leader Award |
 Each year Presbyterian College receives nominations for its Outstanding Church Youth Leader Award. In giving this annual award, Presbyterian College hopes to inspire in youth leaders continued service and commitment to Jesus Christ through the Presbyterian Church (USA). Through their OCYLA scholarship program, they seek to recognize and celebrate outstanding youth leadership in our church congregations and communities. Have you been considering volunteering to go with Trinity Presbytery to the Gulf Coast Sept. 28 - Oct. 5, 2008 on the joint mission trip? Fathers and sons were invited to serve together alongside those rebuilding and participating in U.S. Gulf Coast recovery efforts.
