This month the spotlight is on love, in case you've not
already heard!
Did you know the true meaning of the word samurai is one who serves and adheres to
the power of love?*
Lurking in shadows of love, is its opposite: fear. Fear
is often disguised as anger, rage, sadness, frustration, and judgment. At the root of each of these emotions is
fear; fear of loss, lack of control, rejection, to name a few.
Think of any situation
that appears to be anything but love - what is the fear behind it?
One way to serve and adhere to the power of love is to recognize
and tame fear. When emotion is expressed
as fear, it seems so much easier to deal with, for example:
"You don't ever provide the right tools on time." Could be, "I fear we will lose business or credibility."
"That outfit is totally inappropriate." Could be, "I am fearful you will create the wrong impression." "This recession will destroy all I've built." Could be, I am worried how I will preserve my assets and how might I use the downturn to my advantage.
"He/She didn't remember me on Valentine's Day." Could be, I
am afraid I am not loved.
Certainly, a great way to serve and adhere to the power of love by taming fear is to Spiral Impact It! Remember, Knowledge - Truly seek to understand the truth of the circumstance; your imagined truth is usually fear
Focused Energy - Center yourself for clarity and calm; internal chaos breeds fear
Intention - Revisit all levels of Intention, stick to your values Support - Identify solid honorable ways to support yourself.
Be a samurai!
