Dear Colleague,
It took years to do it well; now I love doing it - falling. Falling is a basic skill in my martial arts practice, aikido. Falling well is essential to protecting yourself. If done correctly, falling creates momentum propelling you back to your feet, ready for the next event. Any hesitation...you are likely to get hurt and stay "on the ground" longer.
Life gives most of us a steady supply of
"falls." Including:
The Spiral Impact
method works for life "falls." Consider the
following:
Vital
Energy - take the time to take
care of yourself; excessive consumption of
junk food and alcohol keeps you "on the
ground" longer; schedule exercise; commit to
practice breathing and centering daily. The Spiral Impact method is a process, not a one time event. Anytime you are taking a "fall," shift through each of these four items to keep your momentum going and continue to repeat. Of course, you may choose to be "on the ground" for awhile! Just be aware it is your choice for now. Warmest regards, Karen Valencic
