Dear Friend of Yiddishkayt,
We wish you a Happy Khanike, just in time for the seventh night. We hope you're as full of latkes and brisket as we are!
Since wrapping Una Noche Idishe, we've been working diligently on our calendar and programs for next year. Hold on to your kapelyushin (hats), 2008 will be full of the creative, fun, and insightful events you've come to expect from us. We've also been working on a complete rehaul of our website. Thanks to a grant from the City of Los Angeles, you should be hearing more about our new site soon.
Join the California Institute for Yiddish Culture & Language for A Kiss of Yiddish, December 15-16. This weekend of music, conversation, and culture will celebrate the Yiddish wedding. And on January 6th, join the Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring in California for a Centennial Gala & Awards Celebration as they commemorate one hundred years in California.
