What's New at Miele?
The S5 Capricorn and the S5 Earth have gotten a facelift! Nothing has changed except for the colors, but what beautiful colors. 
The new Miele S5481 Earth has all the same great features, including the 33 foot operating radius, the exclusive self-adjusting auto-eco setting, sealed system construction, and the SEB217 powerhead. All the power and features you need, and want in a vacuum.
The Capricorn has gone to a Midnight Purple Pearl finish and the Earth has changed to Steel Blue Metallic. Not that they were ugly before, but they really look classy now!

Cleaning Tips and Ideas
A Start on Spring Cleaning Tis the season for Spring cleaning. It's usually the time of year that you clean  somethings only once per year and get down to the nitty gritty stuff. Here's a few tips to help.
- To remove stains and fingerprints from stainless steel appliances, dampen a cotton ball with acetone and wipe with a non-scratch scrup pad.
- Remove stains from piano keys with a paste of baking soda and water.
- When cleaning the television, spray the cleanser on a cloth, instead of directly on the TV , to avoid damaging the screen.
- Solve the crisis of a candle wax stained carpet by removing any excess wax with a dull knife. Then place a few paper towels over the remainder and run a warm iron over the area until it absorbs the wax into the paper towel.
- To clean your computer mouse, unscrew and remove the plastic ring covering the ball and rollers. Then wipe with a cotton swap dipped in household vinegar.
- Clean old vases from water spots by dampening the inside with a litlle toilet bowl cleaner. The stains usually disappear in about 10 minutes.
- Clean the inside of your vacuum where your bags and filters are contained. Also clean off the brushroll by removing any threads or hair that are wrapped around the cylinder.
- To remove grease, splatters, and fingerprints from cabinet doors and facing, use dishwashing liquid and warm water. Dry with cloth after cleaning.
I know this just scratches the surface, but it's all the little things that take up so much of your time. Stay tuned for more cleaning tips next month! |
