The NEW Miele Callisto is just as good as it was before, but better. Miele's motto, Immer Besser, is shown by the improvement in the new powerhead included with the Callisto, the SEB228. This powerhead now includes a 5 step height adjustment feature and is 14" wide verses the SEB217 which was only 11.3" wide.
It is still HEPA certified, and includes the new SET220 stainless steel telescopic wand (shown below), a deluxe handle assembly, parquet floor brush, and all the great features it had before.

SET220 Telescopic Wand
In the spirit of Immer Besser, Miele Floor Care Engineers continue to strive for perfection not only in the area of performance, but aesthetically as well, in the development of the new SET220 Electric telescopic wand.
By encapsulating the electrical connection cable outside the SET 220, the new construction will improve the air-flow inside the wand. The result is a tube with a larger interior diameter that provides superior performance. Furthermore intelligent design ensures that the SET220 will be more air tight, minimizing air leakage, which enhances suction performance resulting in superior cleaning.
